Designs Rights: Functionality and Scope of Protection [CRC]: Israel chapter authored by Adv. & Patent Attorney David Gilat, senior partner, and Adv. Sa’ar Alon, head of our Design dept.
October 25, 2017
The book “Design Rights: Functionality and Scope of Protection” (edited by Christopher V. Carani) was recently published by publisher Wolters Kluwer.
We are proud to share that the Israeli chapter was written by members of our group: senior partner, attorney and patent attorney David Gilat and Saar Alon, attorney and head of the designs department.
The first of its kind, the book, which discusses the requirements for registering and the means of protecting industrial designs around the world, emphasizes the importance of industrial design protection and its enforcement, and constitutes an important tool for legal professionals, designers and other practitioners in the field of intellectual property.
