The minimization of electronic devices has created new challenges in imaging, from the desire to provide accurate images of small elements, near the diffraction limit or beyond this limit, or to collect high quality images using smaller optical arrangements. These challenges, as well as others, raise a need for the development of new imaging techniques. Such techniques may utilize electromagnetic radiation of various wavelengths, acoustic signals, particle beams, or other techniques interacting with the material.
Modern imaging techniques combine optimization of illumination conditions, optical arrangements, and lenses for light collection and detection and processing of the collected data. The Reinhold Cohn team has experience in defining imaging techniques and integrating various aspects, to ensure IP coverage of novel imaging technologies. An IP strategy not only provides protection against competitors, but is also planned to support the venture’s business goals and changing needs.
